Pinangunahan ngayong Lunes ni Department of Health (DOH) Officer-in-Charge Dr. Maria Rosario Singh-Vergeire, kasama sina DOH Undersecretary Enrique Tayag, Assistant Secretary Leonita Gorgolon, at DOH Center for Health Development Central Luzon Regional Director Corazon Flores, ang seremonya ng inagurasyon ng mga bagong gawang gusali ng Bataan General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC).

Kasama ng nasabing mga opisyal ng DOH sina BGHMC Medical Center Chief Dr. Glory V. Baltazar, Bataan Governor Jose Enrique Garcia III, Balanga City Mayor Francis Anthony Garcia, Bataan 2nd District Rep. Albert Raymond Garcia, Bataan 3rd District Rep. Maria Angela Garcia at iba pang lokal na opisyal.

Kabilang sa mga bagong itinayong pasilidad at kagamitan ang isang 5-Storey Medical Ward at ICU Building, isang 5-Storey Multi-Specialty Building (Outpatient Department (OPD), Laboratory, at Administrative Offices), isang 3-Storey Emergency Room Complex at Toxicology Building, at isang bagong naka-install at lisensyadong MRI Machine.
